GWP is a global wood products supplier and long-standing European market leader, backed by four generations of lumber industry expertise and a fully integrated supply chain – from forest to final processing.
With operations in Portugal, Brazil, Belgium, and the US, GWP serves customers all over the world. As their Portugal site continued to grow and ramped up to handling over 30 containers per month, they turned to SmartTEH for a container loading solution to increase loading efficiency.

Solution
Container Loading System
GWP reported faster loading times and reduced product damage as the key benefits of the Container Loading System, allowing them to handle wood products more safely and efficiently.
The system is pit-mounted (fully integrated into the warehouse floor), making it easy to position cargo on the loading platform and allowing trucks to approach the dock directly for loading.
With a standardized loading process in place, GWP gained better control over loading quality, timing, and product protection across daily operations.
